Depart for a 1.5-hour drive to the ancient village of Duong Lam, a typical agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta where hundred-year-old houses are still preserved. Take a walk or hop on bike to discover its narrow alley ways, explore rural life and Vietnam’s ancient architectures. Visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to these two Kings. Stop at Mia Pagoda, built in 17th century in a small hill, the pagoda features a value collection of Buddha statues. Finish your tour at an ancient house owned by a couple where you can have a chat with the friendly owners and share their life experiences over a cup of tea. Drive back to Hanoi.
