Half-day excursion into the Lao countryside by elephant and rafting. Morning transfer 15km (9mi) to the Elephant Village Camp. Upon arrival, take an introductory tour of the camp to learn about the elephants. Begin an elephant ride through diverse landscape and notice how safely and securely the gentle giants make their way along the smallest jungle paths. After crossing the Nam Khan River, continue through teak forests and dense jungle to the beautiful Tad Sae Waterfall, taking in views over the Nam Khan Valley along the way. Board a luxury bamboo raft and slowly drift down the Nam Khan while enjoying a typical Lao-style lunch on board. In the early afternoon, return by private vehicle to your hotel in Luang Prabang.
